Prophylactics of genitourinary organs damage during surgical cor­rection of anorectal abnormalities in children

28 patients (age 6-12 month) with anorectal malformations (ARM) were examined. With the use of intraoperative electric nerve stimulation with detection of intravesical pressure we proposed method of parasympatic nerve preservation in this group of patients. We propose the parameters of intraoperative electrostimulation and criteria of effectiveness of this method. Residual urine volume and time of bladder catheterisation were proposed as a criteria of effectiveness.
