Nephrectomy: the state of the problem in Ukraine

The paper presents the results of statistical analysis of the official reporting forms during a 5 year period (2011-2015 years), concerning the number of nephrectomies, their causes, institutions in which they are performed, as well as the index of postoperative mortality that reflects the quality of medical care. The material is presented in a comparative mannerbetween different Ukrainian regions. In addition, the last two years have been taken into account in connection with the well-known events that have changed the territorial integrity of the country.
