A population-based study among women older than 18 years of Khorezm region of Uzbekistan. The method of sampling and typological alopecia. Study design - “case - control”. Sample size 1487 respondents. Urinary incontinence and symptoms of filling identified using questionnaires ICIQ-SF.
It was found that the prevalence of urinary incontinence in the Southern Aral Sea area in women aged 18 years and older is 27%. The loss of urine during physical exertion was observed in 12.1% of the women surveyed, Urge incontinence - at 4.4%, and mixed type incontinence - 10.4% simplification. The most frequent was the frequency of loss of urine 1 time a week or less. Among patients with urge urinary incontinence such periodicity was observed in 57.3%, and among women with stress urinary incontinence - at 52.5%. The volume of urine lost by 58.4% of women described as slight, 29.9% - a moderate, and 11.7% of those mentioned loss of urine in large amounts. Urgent need to urinate were detected in 31.8%, thamuria - at 39.2% and nocturia - in 15.2% of women. Incontinence of urine in women with the above symptoms was 72.9%, 83.1% and 60.6%, respectively.
In women, incontinence, severe symptoms occurred more violations funded bladder function than women without the involuntary loss of urine. Among patients with urinary incontinence were predominant in number of women with low intensity of symptoms of accumulation. The intensity of urinary incontinence in the majority of patients were also not high.
