Urethra prostatic refluxing of urine and pathogenetic therapy of reflux-caused chronic prostatitis from stendpoint of evidence-based medicine
SUMMARY
For the treatment of reflux-caused by chronic prostatitis category III (according to the classification of NIH-CPSI) of 34 patients was stadied the effectiveness of using higlyselective alpha-blocker Silodosin (Urorek) at a dose 8 mg per day. It is proved that chronic reflux-caused inflammation of the prostate gland is accompanied by a significant impairment of the clinical symptoms of urination, the development of chronic pelvic pain and violation of urodynamic in lower urinary tract. Elimination of uretroprostatic reflyuksing urine using highly selective alpha-blocker Silodosin (Urorek), 8 mg per day led to a significant improvement in urodynamic parameters, removal of chronic pelvic pain and improves the quality of patients life.
