The use of herbal medicine in urological practice

Herbal medicine known since ancient times. Its use is reflected in the primitive writings of ancient scientists. Experience of its application was transmitted from generation to generation. Now there is an alternative herbal medicine recognized standard treatment. It can be used as monotherapy, but more effective in complex treatment of certain inflammatory processes of urinary tract infections (cystitis, pyelonephritis). The great amount of herbs in Ukraine allows to create many different combinations of plants for more successful treatment of this pathology. In the same time administration of herbal medicine should be only after consultation with the therapist (on pharmacologist, phytotherapist). It should comply with the rules associated with the alternation of different herbs combinations (do not use one phytogathering 3-4 weeks in a row), to take into account the patient’s age, presence of comorbidity. In addition, the number of plants overdose may end tragically. Some plants are not compatible with food products.
