State changes of the prostate gland after exposure to CO2 laser

SUMMARY

The aim of this study was to examine the state of the prostate gland after exposure to CO2 laser.

Conducted morphological study of reparative processes that occur in the prostate gland using a carbon dioxide laser, led to the conclusion that the carbon dioxide laser ispolzovanii regeneration processes in the prostate tissue is considerably faster and resulted in the formation of a thin, elastic connective tissue scar. For laser wounds were characterized less pronounced leukocyte infiltration, less pronounced mezhzhelezistoy tissue edema, connective scar consisted of a thin collagen fibers.
