SUMMARY

The aim of the study was clinical-hygienic assessment of the frequency and severity of clinical manifestations of androgen deficiency infertile men in industrial region. Comprehensive assessment of androgen deficiency was carried out among 78 infertile men aged 25-50 years (mean age 22,3±1,0 years). To assess the clinical manifestations of hypogonadism, we used two questionnaires: AMS-questionnaire symptoms of aging men and scale of severity of erectile dysfunction (International Index of Erectile Dysfunction IIEF- 5). Testosterone level was determined in all patients at 8 am fasting ELISA.

Established a significant decrease in testosterone levels in patients of different age groups in comparison with the average data. With special questionnaires in infertile men industrial region identified psychological, somatic and sexual disorders of varying severity. In 53,2 % of the patients identified clinical manifestations of sexual dysfunction, erectile dysfunction was observed in 40% of the men surveyed, the proportion of which increases with age 1.4- 2.8 times. Using special questionnaires to identify sexual disorders, along with laboratory determinations of testosterone is an effective and efficient way to timely detection and correction of disorders of sexual dysfunction patients, as well as for mass screening assay reproductive disorders of the male population.
