Pathophysiological changes in the bladder outlet obstruction due benign prostatic hyperplasia in patients with metabolic syndrome
Benign prostatic hyperplasia - the most common cause of obstruction in men. The bladder is the first and very important “target” in the development of obstruction caused by an enlarged prostate and responds to changes in the wall. Anatomical - functional changes in the bladder with benign prostatic hyperplasia before and after surgery, showed that changes in the organs of urinary obstruction as a result of having stages of development. Urodynamic studies in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia revealed the presence and degree of obstruction, which allowed differentiated approach to the selection of surgical intervention and predict treatment outcome. Through the analysis of changes in the functional state of the detrusor before and after surgery developed a scheme of criteria that reflect the degree of functional recovery bladder, thereby to determine the effectiveness of treatment and improve quality of life for these patients and prognosis of the disease.
