Primary total incidence, mortality from basic diseases of urinary system organs in the activity aspect at the SI “Institute of Urology of NAMS of Ukraine”

This work is dedicated to the activity of the State Institution “Institute of Urology” as the main one on the problem in the aspect of studying and its influence on the health of Ukrainian population. Here are presented the results of analysis of monitoring (30 years) of the primary total morbidity, mortality among the adult population of the country, mostly seen and socially sizable diseases, negatively reflecting on the state of their health and quality of life. They are the following: urolithiasis, diseases of prostatic gland and its benign hyperplasia, in particular, male infertility and also oncourologic pathology (malignant tumors of prostatic gland, kidney, urinary bladder). The influence of the elaborations of the Institute on the situation is considered from the point of view of detection and solution of the problems. With this, can be used the scientific basis and informative methodic activity got from it. Against the background of the monitored positive tendencies about the health state of the population, were received the convincing data confirming the necessity to raise the quality of the specialized aid at the ambulatory-polyclinic stage. The optimization of the work at this level demands purposeful scientific elaborations which would substantiate the broadening of volume of help with criteria of its quality and, in the first place, the effective providing with dispensary service and rehabilitation of such a contingent of patients.
