Retrospective analysis of the autopsy protocols of 67 kidney cancer patients for 30 years period (1980-2010) was carried out. On our data, the most often reasons of death among these patients, were: cancer intoxication 37,3%; bronchial pneumonia - 17,9%; pulmonary thromboembolism - 14,9%; pulmonary-cardiac insufficiency - 13,4%. The difficulty of early kidney cancer diagnostics results in the late diagnosis in advance stage, when the tumor has already reached the significant sizes, gives metastasis, invade vessels, tissues around a kidney. It is characterized by an abundance of necrosis, that results to intoxication that reduces general resistance of an organism. Tumor invasion of kidney's vessels, vena cava inferior, creates the preconditions for damage of these vessels’ walls during operation and pulmonary embolism.
