Frequency and risk factors of bacteriuria after a transurethral resection of prostate

Аn incidence of bacteriuria and it’s risk factors after a transurethral resection of a prostate in 101 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia was analyzed. After operation the strains Enterococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Klebsiella pneumonia, Staphylococcus aureus were isolated from the urine of patients.
