Efficiency of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy in тhe treatment of patients with a large staghorn nephrolithiasis in the dystopic kidney
The paper shows the frequency of clinical symptoms and laboratory tests in patients with nephrolithiasis in the dystopic kidney, the technique of percutaneous nephrolitotripsy in the comparison with the control group of staghorn and large nephrolithiasis in the normally situated kidneys. Efficiency of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy of residual fragments after surgery was 95.24%, in 1 (4.76%) patient there were fragments in the kidney. Percutaneous nephrolithotripsy in combination with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is highly effective and minimally invasive treatment for patients with nephrolithiasis of the dystopic kidney. The most frequent complication of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy in patients with nephrolithiasis in the dystopic kidney are exacerbation of pyelonephritis (9.5%) and renal bleeding (14.2%). The result of the treatment of patients with dystopic nephrolithiasis by the percutaneous nephrolithotripsy depends on the size, structure, chemical composition of stone and sanatorium rehabilitation of patients in both the short-term and the long-term after surgery, as well as metaphylaxis of urolithiasis.
