SUMMARY

There was analyzed the dynamics of the hospitalized BPH morbidity in the Urologic Department of the City Hospital N 1 in Sevastopol for 2008 - 2012. The number of patients by years of monitoring is practically stable and within 160-190 persons. The major part of patients is of the pension age, 65-74 years prevailing. Along with this, we can see the increase of people in the able-bodied period (from 8% to 14%). There was stated the increase in the planned operations: from 50% in 2008 to 59% in 2012. In the structure of the operative aid the BPH part is 28.0-31.9% from the total number. The number of postoperative complications statistically decreased from 38.4±4.0% in 2008 to 23.6±3.6% in 2012. In their structure the first place is retained by infectious inflammatory ones, the proportion of which was twice decreased (from 24.6±3.6% to 12.7±3.0%; p<0.05), but it is still rather high.
