The complication character and its prophylaxis after extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy
SUMMARY
In urology clinic for the period 2010 until today there were 350 patients with urolithiasis under observation who underwent to extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. In 35.5% of cases authors managed different types of complications that were divided into 2 groups. Suggested intra- and perioperative measures for preventing such complications lowered it to 21.8%.
