Research lower urinary tract urodynamic in patients with inguinal hernias

SUMMARY

The article is devoted to the study of urodynamyc indices of the lower urinary tract in patients with inguinal hernia for the objectification recommendations with the aim of objectification recommendations for the prevention of acute urinary retention after hernioplasty. Forty five male patients aged 52 to 79 years with inguinal hernia were examined with the use of ultrasonography and uroflowmetry. 73.3% of patients had abnormal urodynamic lower urinary tract predominantly obstructive nature. Use of alpha1-blockers Urorek for a week before surgery and a week after surgery promoted to the prevention of acute urinary retention after hernioplasty.
