In work the basic stages of historical development of mechanics of destruction of firm bodies are reflected. It is reflected the contribution of a scientific world to development of the given problem, working out of a way remote lythotripsy in treatment of urolithic illness. The contribution of clinic of urology of the Dnepropetrovsk medical academy to the decision of a question on increase of efficiency of a way remote lythotripsy is noted.
