Еxperience of performing transobturator sling by ukranian set «УКРТЕХМЕДСЛIНГ» in treatment women with stress urinary incontinence

The aim of our investigation was study early and late results of performing transobturator sling by ukranian set «УКРТЕХМЕДСЛIНГ» in treatment women with stress urinary incontinence.

Operation of putting transobturator sling by set «УКРТЕХМЕДСЛIНГ» (inside-out technic) was performed on 30 women with stress urinary incontinence for the last 5 years. The age of patients was from 36 to 72, mean - 46,5. Early stages of pelvic organs prolapse (cystocele, rectocele I grade for Baden-Walker) were noted in 4 (13,3%) women. As sling material was used polypropylene mesh «УКРАЇНСЬКА КОЛЬЧУГА» with size 45х1,2 см.

Complication during performing of operations (perforation of bladder) was noted only in one woman. After operation 28 (93,3%) women were discharged dry from departments, 2 (6,7%) patients had slight urine incontinence. In late postoperative period recurrence of urine incontinence and erosion of vaginal wall were no noted. Overactive bladder (de novo) took place in 2 (6,7%) patients.

Early and late results of performing transobturator sling by ukranian set «УКРТЕХМЕДСЛIНГ» with using polypropylene mesh «УКРАЇНСЬКА КОЛЬЧУГА» in treatment women with stress urinary incontinence were sаtisfied. That is why we recommend this procedure for using in practice of urologists and gynecologists.
